The Importance of Focus
Focus is the fundamental building block of perception, learning, reasoning, problem solving and decision making. Without the ability to focus, it becomes impossible to think effectively. To truly excel in Taekwondo, it’s necessary to center one’s attention both inward (on oneself) and outward (onto others). By cultivating awareness of yourself, your teacher, and your classmates, Taekwondo students grow to become successful in many areas of their lives. At Master Roberts World Class Taekwondo, every moment of learning involves, and requires the development of, Focus. The proper techniques of the Martial Art require centering attention and concentrating to wholly replicate the actions smoothly and correctly.
